Olympian may get moving----bridge first

We can claim progress? I mean, it is, it is! And in the article, we learn that Mayor Laurel is out of the country and not available to compromise. Excuse me, I mean, "not available to comment".

Meantime, I submitted a design factor on behalf of grandparents such as myself. We will include an observation deck on the Olympia bridge so we can take our grandkids and watch trains go by---some will whiz at very high speeds on the way between St. Louis and Chicago.

Only if Champaign isn't a stop, otherwise it'll already be slowing. :-) Then again, it might be your grandkids who are the first to take their grandkids by the time high speed rail gets here.
