I have to hand it to Ameren.  After calling them on a Friday afternoon to drop my service line on Monday morning between 8 and 10am so I could trim some branches, they arrived around 8:15am.  When I called around 1pm to have it turned back on, they were back here within about an hour.  It certainly made the task easier having reliable service, especially with the days getting colder.  That service call was more professionally operated than any utility service I've ever had so I'd like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Ameren!
