Joe Walsh's close call conservative win in congressional Chicago Suburban contest

Joe Walsh is a winner who came from outside the official party, although uncounted votes were shipped to Cicero for overnight "safekeeping", and there were vote handling offenses reported to law enforcement. I can only wish we would have a candidate in our area with a Joe Walsh program of efficiency, effectiveness, frugality, and constraint to run for state or national office in our area. Here's one of many reports about him:  http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=39869

Enjoy him while he lasts. Of

Enjoy him while he lasts. Of all the Republican congressmen in Illinois he is easily the most unappealing to voters and easiest to topple and as a result he will likely lose his seat to redistricting before the next election. I bet the conservative areas of his district will be moved to a safely Republican seat and the more liberal areas of his district will be moved into Bob Dold's Dem-friendly seat.

Another scenario is that a seat downstate will be eliminated instead and that Walsh will be placed in the same district as a stronger Republican congressman (Hultgren, Dold, Kinzinger, Roskam, Biggert, etc.), setting him up for a primary defeat. Do not think for a second that the RNCC wouldn't back any of those congressmen over Joe Walsh in a 2012 GOP primary.

Also, P.S., the race still hasn't been officially called yet.
