Who knows what I've "agreed" to...

Does anyone ever read all the thousands of pages of software licensing agreements and terms of service we've "agreed" to over the years?  l assume they're harmless, but couldn't someone write something crazy into it and potentially hold you to it since you "agreed."

There's quite a bit of discussion that those agreements aren't enforceable because it's not a contract because it can't be negotiated. You're given a take it or leave it agreement presented after you already bought the software and can't ask a human for modifications. Even big organizations like the state can't get some vendors to modify their agreements when those modifications are required by state law or the state can't do business with them.

Gee, though I'm cautious about a lot of things I won't click on, even on Facebook for all those applications, I post here and never have checked to see what this "Mollom privacy policy" is I've "agreed" to.
