H-G home page
When I open the News Gazette site it somehow fails to show complete page. The left side of the page isn't available.It seems to be left of the left margin. To see the heading for Oituaries or News, I must type that in and then the whole page is readable. Weird. Any suggestions or comments? Thanks.

Strange. What browser are you using for this to occur? I haven't seen anything like this in FF 3.x/4.x, Safari 4/5, Opera 10, or IE 6/7/8. Any more detail would help.
You might try clearing your browser's cache, and see if that resolves anything.
As for editing posts, we're seeing about that.

Sometimes we make updates,
Sometimes we make updates, and sometimes that might cause things to go a bit wonky now and then, so if that ever happens, do a "Shift"+refresh to clear your browser cache. That usually will do the trick, and for this case, since you're logged in, it'll get you a new session with our new data in it.

Looks like you found out as I did that in initiating a topic, once it's posted there is no editing possible. (that tends to help me shy away from initiating now) Anyway, I had to see what the "H.G." was all about. Maybe you could start discussing H.G. Wells' novels. Regards,
