Sunrise folks, if you want to join our community, you should introduce yourself.
Are you the Sunrise Coal that had a fatality at its Jefferson County mine in Alabama in 2005? (Maybe not.)
Are you the Sunrise Coal that had to close its Howesville, Indiana mine due to safety issues one year after opening in 2005?
Are you the Sunrise Coal that had the most reportable accidents and ailments of any Indiana coal mine at your Carlisle mine in 2010?
Are you the Sunrise Coal that is the subject of SEC filings related to your financial obligations to Hallador Petroleum (or Energy)? What is Hallador and what is its environmental and safety record, its willingness to buy and sell properties, to open and close facilities?
You are the Sunrise Coal whose Suzanne Jaworoski, Director of Communications [sic] e-mailed Homer Mayor David Lucas on April 13, 2012 at 6:03am to say, "Did you or Rob speak to this reporter? If you receive any inquiry from the press please direct them to me. It's important the [sic] we do not discuss any aspect of the project in public before our permit is secure. I'm sure you understooand the challenges it [sic] can bring up." So we can say for sure, you aren't keen on public participation in mineral extraction decisions. And that you think David Lucas is your servant.
We are curious.
Corporations are "worms in the body politic." - Thomas Hobbes
So did you miss it? It was just a little blimp on the media screen and a slight of hand in public meeting. Just a quick how-de-do and there it was, a soulless Corporation with rights of an individual in a court of law, sucking dry the resources of the peasants.
An easy breeze vote, especially after all the opposition had spent themselves in the first meetings, lulled into a false sense of security in having the vote go their way last time. It was an easy feign, just throw some money Homer’s way and the odyssey all goes good.
Yes, a predictable event and one no media group will bother to look into. Why votes were changed, what promises were made and what affiliations to what secret societies are maintained. Just the defining silence of a plan well done.
Meanwhile, our lapdog media continues to nibble on the tasty treats offered by the hand of the masters, on whose lap they sit!
Now as through this world I ramble,
I see lots of funny men,
Some rob you with a six gun,
And some with a fountain pen. - Woody Guthrie
“Fifty men have run America, and that's a high figure."- Joseph Kennedy
Thank you citizen Micah, for your brave and noble effort in speaking truth to power and exposing the cabal cartel who manipulate our future.
rsp,
And just who is going to do a FOIR – you? Certainly not any of our lapdog media groups who make far to much money in pandering to corporate powers than investigating them. Once again, you witness first hand that our lives are fully controlled by powers beyond our oversight and control, even down to the local level, with this being a prime example.
Just take a look at who the community leaders are in this case and their private affiliations, in that you will find who actually controls your destiny. Besides, most FOIR’s are denied and appeals can take years, allowing the societal crime to occur, be long buried and forgotten before anything can be ascertained. And, a FOIR in this instance would probably be denied with prejudice, with little recourse, justified through ongoing “negotiations” with corpocracy.
The issue appears to be a done deal and will not be detoured by people like us, as we are but mere nats on a summer day, pesky and need to be swatted from time to time, but of no real concern in how the peasant’s resources will be consumed.
"Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the Field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it." - President Woodrow Wilson
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
Any emails to the mayor are subject to freedom of information act. So, someone should get right on that. Destroying such an email would be a crime.
