Students see what happens to your head if you don't wear a helmet as they watch a melon break in the ATV Safety class during Progressive Agriculture Safety Day at Gifford Grade School in Gifford on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012. The Center for Rural Health and Farm Safety at Carle sponsored the day for Gifford fourth and fifth grade students and included topics Healthy Lifestyles, Firearm Safety, First Aid, Lawn Equipment Safety, ATV Safety and Hidden Hazards.
