Free dental services offered for children

URBANA — Free dental exams, cleanings and fluoride treatments will be available for kids from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20 at Lincoln Square, Urbana.

The free dental services are being provided as part of Give Kids a Smile Day, sponsored by the Illini District Dental Society.

The dental services are available to kids ages 1-17, and appointments aren't necessary, the organization says.

The event will also include:

— Door prizes.

— Visits by the tooth fairy, Delta Dental Tooth Wizard, the Illinois State Dental Society's mascot Flossie, and the Twin City Derby Girls.

— Games and activities, among them face painting, a coloring contest and healthy food bingo.
