URBANA — Creative types will talk Saturday night about their passions during the 13th PechaKucha Night C-U, hosted by the Champaign-Urbana Design Organization and Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
The event starts at 8:20 p.m., with doors opening at 7:30, at Krannert, 500 S. Goodwin Ave., U.
Admission is free.
In addition to nine unique speakers, the night will include DJ Mertz spinning at Stage 5 beginning at 7:30 and beer specials throughout the night.

First devised by a pair of Tokyo architects in 2003, PechaKucha Night has become an international phenomenon that uses a simple concept: The presenters have 20 images and 20 seconds per image to share their ideas, works and passions for a total of 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
CUDO is a professional organization for graphic designers that was started in 2009 by Maya Bruck, Madelin Woods and Christina Wondra.
