Wine tasting to benefit Orpheum

URBANA — The fifth annual Corkscrew Gala Wine Tasting Event to benefit the Orpheum Children's Science Museum will take place from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, 500 S. Goodwin Ave.

Forty vendors will offer tastings of more than 200 wines from vineyards from throughout the world. The event also will feature live music and hors d'oeuvres.

Tickets are $20. VIP ticket holders pay $30 to arrive early, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. All proceeds, including a percentage of wine sales, will fund programs at the Orpheum Children's Science Museum.
