TUSCOLA — The Hands-4-Paws K-9 Karnival is set for 9 to 11 am. Saturday at the fenced outdoor area at The Vault Arts Collective, 100 N. Main St. in downtown.

Owners and pets can participate in fun games and contests; an entry fee of $5 covers the cost of all the events.

The Halloween costume contests will be at 9:15 a.m. Categories include cutest, scariest and best owner/pet costumes.

The best pet tricks contest will be at 9:45 a.m.

Dog and cat gift baskets valued at $125 are prizes for a raffle (tickets are $1 apiece or $5 for six). The dog gift basket includes a crate liner, blanket, food, treats, bowl, toys and a photo frame. The cat gift basket includes a litter box, litter, scoop, food, treats, bowls, toys and a photo frame.
