Catholic Charities' Tolono Food Pantry. 10 a.m. to noon every Friday and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Monday (excluding holidays) at St. Patrick Catholic Church's east entrance, 212 E. Tolkien and the Arts Conference. 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, University Baptist Church, 314 E. Daniel St., C. Presented by Urbana Theological Seminary. Discussing the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Keynote speaker: Jef Murray, artist and author, "Fanning the Secret Fire: Sub-Creation as a Spiritual Voyage." Murray's artwork will be used to discuss humanity's role as "the servants of the secret fire." Other speakers: the Rev. Charles Klamut, St. John's Catholic Newman Center; Rick Williams, Baptist Student Foundation at the University of Illinois; Melody Green, Urbana Theological Seminary; and Bryan Mead, Judah Christian School.
