Good Citizens winners announced

The Alliance Chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution and the Piankeshaw Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution have announced the winners of the 2014 Good Citizens Award Program.

Each winner is a high school senior, selected by both faculty and class as the senior who best exemplifies the qualities of leadership, dependability, service and patriotism.

The DAR school winners also wrote essays that were entered into a scholarship competition; a $200 scholarship will be awarded to the Alliance Chapter winner.
