Community prayer wall. Through April 20, First Presbyterian Church of Urbana along the courtyard at 602 W. Green St. Erected for the season of Lent. Spend a moment in prayer, select a strip of fabric from the containers on the wall to represent the prayer and tie it onto the prayer wall. Topics of praise, needs, forgiveness, world and loved ones. Share a word or topic for others by writing it on the sidewalk with chalk. To share a private prayer request with the church, a form is available at 367-8357.

71st Annual Women's Day. Saturday and Sunday, Salem Baptist Church, 500 E. Park, C. Theme: "Women Working Together in Love." Prayer breakfast, 8:30 a.m. Saturday with speakers, the Rev. Catholic Charities' Tolono Food Pantry. 10 a.m. to noon every Friday and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Monday (excluding holidays) at St. Patrick Catholic Church's east entrance, 212 E. Washington St., Tolono. Food distribution. Participants may come twice per calendar month and just need to be 18 or older and show a photo ID. No location restrictions. 689-1427.

10th Annual Festival of Quilts. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 4 and 5, Cunningham Children's Home, 1301 N. Cunningham Ave., U. Enjoy the show quilts, bid on an auction quilt, shop for one-of a kind gifts or have a treat from the bake sale. Delivers a two-part message delving into Mary's anointing of Jesus in preparation for his passion and crucifixion from John 12: 1-11.A family physician, Webb has taught and chaired the department of Family Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and has been an adult Christian educator in central Illinois for 38 years, currently at Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington.

The Rev. Martin Woulfe. 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Unitarian Universalist Church of Urbana-Champaign, 309 W. Green St., U. Sermon, "The Spirituality of Carl Sagan." Woulfe, raised as a Roman Catholic, discovered UUism in 1987, ordained in March 2003, and has served the Abraham Lincoln UU Congregation, Springfield, for nearly 11 years.

Workshops, classes

Worship seminar with Tom Kraeuter. 8:30 a.m. to noon March 29, Friendship Lutheran Church of Joy, 3601 S. Duncan Road, C.
