Come early to hobnob at market

You can hobnob with the best of them this weekend.

The Hobnob Spring Market will be held at Bunker Hill, Kennekuk County Park, 22296A Henning Road, Danville.

The fresh-picked party is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday

An early-bird buying party, it offers shopping, live music by The Bankesters, food and drinks, giveaways and more.

Tickets are $10 per person in advance or $15 per person at the gate. Kids 12 and under are free.

There is free parking at the event in a big grassy field and handicapped parking is available in a blacktop area near the red barn.

Market Day is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

It's a full day of vintage finds and handmade items plus live music, food and a cash bar.

Admission is $5 per person at the gate. Kids 12 and under are free.

The Hobnob is owned and run by Scott and Holly Snelling. They live in Danville; he was raised in Veedersburg, Ind., and she in Bismarck.
