Yard sale to benefit His Kid's Closet

CHAMPAIGN — His Kid's Closet, the Champaign-based organization that distributes clothing donations to kids in need, is holding a yard sale Saturday.

It will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene, 2403 W. Kirby Ave., C

The sale will be a fund-raiser for the organization, and is also intended to reach more people who need the clothes, His Kid's Closet founder Carolyn Morris said.

Most of the clothing will be a dollar or less, and there will be a lot of cold weather items, such as coats, hats and boots available, Morris said. Included will be shirts for a quarter, pants and shoes for 50 cents and coats and blankets for a dollar.
