Religious-school student registration. 9 to 11 a.m. Aug. 19, Sinai Temple, 3104 W. Windsor Road, C. Registration is a family-focused event, so come for pancakes, registration, and a blood drive (until 1 p.m.). Sixth annual community hog roast. 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1930 N. Bowman Ave., Danville. Games and activities for the whole family and a silent auction. Jesus Is The Way's "Circle of Love" Fundraiser 2018. 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 24, Laborers' International Union North America Local 703, 108 E. Anthony Drive, U. This annual fundraising banquet is to celebrate the lives being changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Jesus Is The Way Prison Ministry. In addition to the meal, hear from the lives being affected through JITWPM. Guest speaker Les Alderson, who has been doing prison ministry for many years and is also the state representative for Celebrate Recovery Inside. Seating is free but limited to adults only.
