UI Observatory Telescope
The historic telescope at UI Observatory is being taken apart so it can be restored off-site by Ray Museum Studios in Pennsylvania. The telescope is 117 years old, and hasn't been repaired since the 1950s. It is still used for teaching and public observatory sessions. The Observatory is a national historic landmark.
