CCAMR group home under new management

The county's oldest group home for developmentally disabled adults will be under new management starting Saturday, the latest casualty of the state's budget crisis.
Day-to-day operation of the ranch house at 1008 Devonshire Drive, C, will be assumed by Charleston Transitional Facility, a nonprofit corporation that operates 25 group homes throughout the state. The Charleston agency is also negotiating to buy the Champaign home, possibly within the next 60 days.
