4 Champaign lawyers to be honored as 'Pillars of the Bar'
CHAMPAIGN – Four Champaign lawyers with a collective 205 years of experience are being honored as the second class of the Champaign County Bar Association's "Pillars of the Bar."
George Miller, J. Michael O'Byrne, Charles Palmer, and John Phipps – listed alphabetically because it's impossible to say based on accomplishments who should head up the list – will be honored at the bar association's annual meeting April 30.
