Danville church holding winter clothing collection

DANVILLE – The Vermilion Heights Christian Church is collecting winter coats, hats, gloves, mittens and scarves for a free giveaway set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 28 at the church, 725 Oakwood Ave.
The items are being collected through Oct. 25. Children's coats are especially needed.
The church asks that items be clean and in good condition or new. All coats must be on hangers. Boxes will be provided for the other items.
