Pavlov set to acquire Shouting Ground

CHAMPAIGN — Champaign-based Pavlov Media announced Wednesday it is acquiring Shouting Ground Technologies, a local provider of managed information-technology and network-technology solutions.

Shouting Ground will keep its name and operations and stay in Champaign, according to a Pavlov release. Shouting Ground's customers should see no change in service, the release added.

Pavlov provides broadband services to student housing and multifamily developments, and the acquisition "complements our long-term business strategy," said CEO Mark Scifres.

Shouting Ground "has an outstanding reputation in the Champaign-Urbana for helping customers with information technology and network needs," Scifres said.

That should blend well with Pavlov's plans to continue expansion of network services, he said.

Shouting Ground President Bryan Holloway said that with Pavlov's staff and infrastructure, the companies can improve the focus on business customers in C-U.

Shouting Ground Technologies provides Web-hosting services, Voice over Internet Protocol services, server/network support and maintenance, desktop/workstation support and maintenance, and business-class connectivity.
