Sodemann becomes Fehr Graham

CHAMPAIGN — The Fehr Graham engineering firm, which acquired Champaign-based Sodemann & Associates at the end of last year, announced Thursday that Sodemann is changing its name to Fehr Graham.

"The name change makes a lot of sense as we move forward together," said Mick Gronewold, the board chairman of Fehr Graham.

Steve Sodemann, previous owner of Sodemann & Associates, will continue to lead the Champaign teams and manage client relationships as the Champaign branch manager, a release from the company stated.

The Champaign office has 19 employees.

Freeport-based Fehr Graham, with nine locations in the Midwest, provides engineering and environmental services for commercial, industrial, institutional and governmental clients.
