Toast of Champaign Toastmasters. Noon to 1 p.m. every Thursday, Champaign Public Library (see information desk for room location), 200 W. Green St. Learn to speak in front of groups. For anyone interested in working on communication skills. Guests welcome to attend any meeting. Also, visit the Fireside Club, 5:45 to 6:45 p.m., first and third Wednesdays of the month, and the McKinley Toastmasters Club, 6:15 p.m., first four Thursdays of the month, also at the library.

'Time Mastery: Maximize Your Time.' 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 7, 8 a.m. to noon or 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 15, Parkland Business Training and Community Education, 1315 N. Mattis Ave., C. Class will help you evaluate your time-management effectiveness, provide a detailed framework for personal action planning and offer practical tips for improving time-management skills. Class fee $185. Paid registrants will be issued an access code for the required online assessment. Assessment must be completed by Aug. 9. Part of the Parkland College Leadership Series.
