Today's Special: Miga adds sushi bar, 28-year chef to run it

CHAMPAIGN — Miga restaurant, at 301 N. Neil St. in downtown Champaign, has added a sushi bar and brought in a sushi chef from Europe to run it.

"People have been constantly asking us to bring sushi to Miga," general manager Jen Kropfel said.

The restaurant, which celebrated its third birthday over the Labor Day weekend, hired sushi chef James Kim, who has worked for the past year at a restaurant in Prague. He has 28 years of experience as a chef.
