Henning firm's expansion to add 150 jobs
HENNING — A Henning food industry manufacturer will be hiring 150 additional employees as part of an exclusive agreement with ConAgra Foods to produce the company's cooking sprays.
Full-Fill Industry officials announced the $20-$25 million expansion Wednesday morning in Henning, where the company started in 1999 and currently employs 94 workers. The company makes aerosol cooking spray, including canola, oil and butter, for retail and food service markets, for private labels sold in grocery chains nationally and internationally and for the Crisco and Mazola cooking spray brands.
The company, which is owned and operated by the Clapp family, will build three new production lines, a 25,000-square-foot manufacturing area and a 108,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution building with eight new docks to accommodate the ConAgra business.
David Clapp, president and chief executive officer of Full-Fill, said construction will begin this summer on the expansion, and the new lines should be operational by fall 2012.
