Marine Bank has second office open in Champaign
CHAMPAIGN — Marine Bank has opened a second office in Champaign at 1001 S. Neil St., the former Centrue Bank office.
Marine completed the acquisition of the Centrue office over the weekend and opened for business Monday. Plans for the acquisition were first announced in July.
Employees of the Centrue office have joined Marine's staff, a bank news release stated.
Marine plans to install a drive-up ATM at the new branch immediately and make cosmetic improvements and facility upgrades in the next few months, according to the release.
Marine Bank continues to have an office at 2434 Village Green Place in the Village at the Crossing in southwest Champaign.
"Since opening our first Champaign office in 2004, we've grown by offering customers what they want — outstanding personalized service and fast, local decisions," said Anh D. To, executive vice president of Marine Bank.
"We look forward to providing the same customer-focused approach to banking at our Neil Street branch," he said.
Springfield-based Marine Bank has nine branches and a loan production office in the Springfield, Champaign-Urbana and Bloomington markets. With the latest acquisition, the bank has total assets of $600 million.
