Chrisman man killed in crash

RIDGE FARM – A Chrisman man was killed in a single-car accident in northern Edgar County on Wednesday morning.
Illinois State Police at Pesotum said Dennis L. Neal, 83, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Illinois 1 just north of Edgar County Road 1800 N.
Police said Mr. Neal was driving south about 10:40 a.m. when he left the road, went into a ditch, hit a culvert and flipped.
He was not wearing a seat belt and was partially thrown from his car, which then landed on him, Master Sgt. Rory Steidl said.
