URBANA — An Urbana woman was injured Tuesday morning after her van collided with a utility truck in Urbana.
Urbana police Sgt. Joel Sanders said Rae Corzine, 37, of the 700 block of MacArthur, was driving a minivan west on Fairview Avenue at 9:42 a.m. when she failed to stop at the stop light at Lincoln Avenue.
A utility truck headed south on Lincoln collided with her van. The driver of the truck, owned by American Dowell Signcrafters of Champaign, was James Michels , 54, of Sadorus. He was not injured, Sanders said.
Corzine was taken to Carle Foundation Hospital by ambulance, Sanders said. She was treated and released.
Corzine was issued a ticket for disobeying a traffic control device.
