Police seek information on burglary in Mahomet
MAHOMET – Crimestoppers and Mahomet police need help solving a burglary at a Mahomet business.
Sometime early on Monday, March 15, the rear door of the Ace Hardware store, 804 E. Eastwood Drive, was forced open. Cash and merchandise were stolen.
Police think the burglar or burglars may have been near the Interstate 74 eastbound on-ramp at Illinois 47 before the burglary.

Information can also be sent by anonymous Web tip at http://www.373tips.com or by sending an anonymous cell-phone text message with Tip397 plus the information to CRIMES (274637).
Callers do not have to give their names or appear in court, and any information they provide will be kept confidential.
Crimestoppers will pay a reward if the information leads to an arrest.
Cash rewards are also paid for information on other felony crimes or fugitives in the Champaign County area.
