Champaign man accused of molesting teen

URBANA – A Champaign man accused of molesting a teen is due back in court in October.
Justin West, 22, who listed an address in the 600 block of North Russell Street, was arraigned Tuesday on two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse alleging that in the summer of 2009 and in April 2010, he fondled the breast of a girl between the age of 13 and 17.
The girl told Champaign police that the touching began when she was younger and that West offered her money to let him touch her.
West waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was ordered to be back in court Oct. 19. He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
