Police investigate sexual assault

CHAMPAIGN — Police are investigating a reported sexual assault Friday night in Champaign.
According to a police report, offers were called at 8:38 p.m. Friday to the 600 block of East Green Street to respond to a possible sexual assault in progress.
A 20-year-old Eastern Illinois University student told police that a man walked past her, reached behind her and grabbed her buttocks before continuing to walk away from her heading east.
The man’s description was incomplete. Police were unable to locate the suspect.
