St. Joe man injured in intersection collision

URBANA — A St. Joseph man remained hospitalized Saturday with injuries he received in a two-vehicle collision at an Urbana intersection Friday evening.
A Carle Foundation Hospital employee said Patrick Walle, 38, was listed in serious condition.
An Urbana police report said Walle was driving a pickup truck east on Windsor Road at High Cross at 5:13 p.m. when a woman on High Cross ran a red light and struck his vehicle. Walle had to be cut out of his truck and complained of back pain.
Darlene Wiesner, 61, was ticketed for disobeying a red light. She was not injured, according to the report. Witnesses verified that Walle had the right-of-way, the report said.
Police said her car and Walle's truck both sustained heavy damage.
