White Heath teen treated following car crash

SEYMOUR — A White Heath teen was treated and released from Carle Hospital Tuesday after a single-car crash in western Champaign County.
Champaign County sheriff's Sgt. Brian Mennenga said Charles Hill, 18, was driving east on County road 1200 N at the Champaign-Piatt county line when he lost control of the car in loose gravel. The car rolled over at least once, he said.
Mennenga said Hill had a relative drive him to the hospital after the 7 a.m. accident. Because he was wearing a seat belt, he remained in the car.
Hill was given a ticket for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
