CHAMPAIGN

— 2500 block of West John Street: 92-year-old woman awakened about 2:20 a.m. Tuesday by a man who apparently entered her home through a window; he left when she told him she had activated her Life Alert transponder; he was not found by police; woman not physically injured.

— 1100 block of Harrington Drive: Wallet stolen from vehicle about 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

— 0-100 block of East Chalmers Street: Door frame and deadbolt damaged in apparent break-in attempt July 16.

— 300 block of East Armory: Rock thrown through apartment window, breaking it early Sunday.

— 0-100 block of East John Street: Television stolen July 20; reported Monday.

— 1100 block of Dorsey Drive: Residence vandalized July 11.

— Car-X Auto Services, 601 E. University Ave.: Copper tubing stolen from air conditioning unit between Saturday and Monday.

— Illini Hall, 725 S. Wright St., Coble Hall, 801 S. Wright St., and Student Arcade building, 815 S. Wright St.: $3,000 worth of copper downspouts reported stolen off buildings Sunday night.

— Activities and Recreation Center, 201 E. Peabody Drive: Cellphone valued at $250 reported stolen at 11:45 a.m. Sunday from an unlocked locker.

— WILL-TV radio tower, County Road 1700 N: Copper discovered stolen from seven transmission lines Thursday.

URBANA

— 2600 block of East Illinois Street: Copper discovered stolen from a home during the first week of June after tenants moved out; it was replaced; more copper discovered stolen early July; valued at $1,300.

— 800 block of West Springfield Avenue: Unlocked apartment entered Monday; gaming system and games stolen.

— 1300 block of East Pennsylvania Avenue: Four BB rounds fired at a windshield Saturday or Sunday.

— 200 block of Thompson Street: Rear window of vehicle broken out Sunday; nothing apparently missing.

— Prairie School, 2101 E. Washington St.: Concrete thrown through window between June 30 and Monday.
