Danville woman injured in accident on I-74
OGDEN — A Danville woman was injured in a single vehicle accident on Interstate 74 in rural Ogden on Sunday afternoon.
According to a state police report, Amber A. Barrett, 25, who listed an address in the 500 block of East Ross Lane, Danville, was driving a 1996 Toyota west on Interstate 74 when she lost control of the vehicle about two miles east of Ogden at 12:14 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle spun into the median, rolled over and struck a ditch.
Barrett was taken by ambulance to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, where she was treated and released.
Four passengers in the vehicle, Kyle C. Barrett, 22; Kylina A. Barrett, 1; William Lovett, 7; and Christopher C. Lovett, 5; all of Danville, were not injured, according to police.
Police said no citations had been issued.
