Indiana woman dies in single-vehicle crash in rural Douglas County

KEMP — A Terre Haute, Ind., woman died in a single-vehicle crash in rural Douglas County on Sunday morning.
According to a state police report, April J. Dunbar, 31, of Terre Haute was driving a 1999 Jeep west on Illinois 133 just west of County Road 1475 E in rural Kemp when her vehicle left the roadway to the right, struck a culvert, rolled over and landed in a cornfield at 8:36 a.m. Sunday.
Ms. Dunbar was ejected from the Jeep, according to the report.
Douglas County Coroner Joseph Victor said Ms. Dunbar was pronounced dead when Arcola police, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and an ambulance arrived at the scene at 9:51 a.m. Sunday.
The accident is under investigation by state police and the Douglas County Coroner's Office.
