Body, found in Champaign, identified as Danville woman's

DANVILLE — The woman whose body was found Tuesday northwest of Champaign has been identified as a 43-year-old from Danville, according to a news release from the Champaign County sheriff's office.
The sheriff's office and the Champaign County coroner, using fingerprints, established the woman's identity as Angelica M. Vasquez, who lived on Robinson Street in Danville, according to the news release. Her husband reported her missing, according to the sheriff's office. The sheriff's office and Danville police are working on the investigation, which the sheriff's office is treating as a homicide.
Ms. Vasquez's body was discovered by a motorist about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday along Rising Road just north of Bradley Avenue about 100 feet off the road.
