This is a fine example of just how poor the news gazette is. Seriously, read that first line: "500 block of North Market Street: Vehicle driven by a 45-year-old man and a four-year-old boy and a glass ashtray thrown at them Tuesday. The object did not strike either person, but it landed near the boy."

According to this, the vehicle was being driven by a man, a child, and an ashtray. I don't get it. Do you even look at what you write? You do realize this is public right, not just a diary? Let me help you out: A 45-year-old man driving with his four-year-old son in the vehicle had a glass ashtray thrown at them Tuesday.

Look, was that so hard? Come on people, at least act like you care.

lol... before i scrolled down far enough to see your comment, i read this report to my wife and basically said the same thing.

i told her...

" if i remember correctly, it was raining tuesday. so let me get this str8... a man's driving with a kid on his lap and an ashtrays thrown at them, did not strike either of them, but landed near the boy. Sooooo...  they were driving a convertible in order for the ashtray to land near the boy? No vehicle damage of any kind? Wait... i get it... the window was down and the ashtray was thrown by someone with the accuracy of Nolan Ryan. Oh well... at least they got a free ashtray out of the deal, because it sounds like it survived the ordeal as well."
