Douglas County law officers identify truck; no crime committed
Douglas County officials have learned that a pickup truck spotted at a rural home in northwest Douglas County Monday morning was not involved in any criminal activity as they initially suspected.
The sheriff’s office said the truck, with out-of-state license plates, stopped at the home about 10:30 a.m. in northwest Douglas County, about two miles south of the Champaign County line and about three miles east of the Piatt County line.
The residents of the home did not know the men in the truck, who tried to open a locked shed door, according to the sheriff’s office.
Because of several recent rural burglaries, the sheriff's office put out a plea to the public to find this truck and its occupants. They received several calls and learned that the occupants were affiliated with a seed company and not involved in anything sinister.
I'm certainly no truck expert (but somewhat good with Google?)... Late model Chevy Silverado 2500 HD crew cab?

The wheels aren't the same, but on Chevy's web site they do offer similar five spoke (?) wheels similar to the picture with the story. I think the red/white (gray) Z71 on the rear is a dead giveaway--right spot, right colors.
