SAVOY – A gun-shaped video-game controller in a carry-on bag caused a delay in departure for a student from Willard Airport in Savoy on Monday.

University of Illinois police Lt. Roy Acree said a plastic toy pistol that looked like a 9-mm semi-automatic pistol was confiscated from the student's luggage after a baggage screener for the Transportation Security Administration alerted police to the object in the carry-on luggage at 7:45 a.m. Monday.
