Police issue minor consumption ticket
PAXTON – A Rankin teen was cited for drinking alcohol after crashing her car in southern Ford County on Monday night.
Illinois State Police at Ashkum refused to release the name of the 16-year-old girl who was injured on Illinois 9 near County Road 2450 E, about 5 miles east of Paxton, about 10:15 p.m. Monday.
