Man faces charges in crash that killed 2
BROADLANDS – A Broadlands man was expected to be charged this afternoon with felony aggravated driving under the influence following a collision Saturday that killed a Broadlands couple.
Champaign County sheriff's Sgt. Dan Coile said David A. Black, 42, was driving his van east on County Road 200 N near Park Street in Broadlands about 9:25 p.m. when he hit the rear end of a motorcycle driven by William Orndorff, 42. He and his wife, Julie Orndorff, 34, who was on the back, were thrown from the motorcycle. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
