Danville police to be on lookout for impaired drivers
DANVILLE – The Danville Police Department will be looking for drunken drivers during the July Fourth holiday.
The overwhelming number of late-night impaired drivers and safety belt violators underscores the disproportionate number of traffic deaths occurring between midnight and 3 a.m. on Illinois roads, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
