Man gets 9 years in jail for burglarizing pawn shop
URBANA – The following criminal cases were resolved recently in Champaign County Circuit Court:
– Harvey Blakely, 45, who listed an address in the 400 block of South Locust Street, Champaign, pleaded guilty to a March 17 burglary at Leonard's Pawn Shop, 112 E. University Ave., C. He was sentenced to nine years in prison and ordered to make $5,665 in restitution.
– Lance R. Manning, 42, who listed an address in the 1200 block of Lanore Drive, Urbana, was sentenced to three years in prison for unlawful possession of weapons by a felon. He was arrested after threatening to use a knife on a woman on April 15.
– Darric Green Jr., 19, who listed an address in the 1400 block of King's Way Drive, Cham- paign, pleaded guilty to obstruc- ting justice for giving a false name to a Champaign police officer on Aug. 28. He was sentenced to two years in prison.
