Students get taste of Asian activities
CHAMPAIGN – Quantrell McFarland stood in the gym at Jefferson Middle School and pushed first one boy, then another, with all his might, until they stepped off the mat under their feet or fell to the floor.
Quantrell didn't get in trouble. Instead, he got a belt signifying he was the winner of a sumo wrestling tournament.
