Urban League loses contracts
CHAMPAIGN – A state-funded energy assistance program run by the Urban League of Champaign County for more than 25 years has been removed from the agency's control.
The state informed the Urban League on Friday that it was terminating its contracts, following months of negotiations to correct problems identified earlier this year, officials said.
