Boil order in effect in Villa Grove after main break
VILLA GROVE – Villa Grove residents were expected to get water restored this afternoon, after going without water since early this morning when a water main broke.
City Clerk Brandy Hopkins said once the water is restored the city will be under a boil order for at least 24 hours. Water samples will need to be analyzed by the Environmental Protection Agency before it can be cleared for consumption and the boil order lifted.
