Towns declare war on mosquitoes

Sandy Jones of Urbana got a pleasant surprise while she was attending last week's Rantoul sesquicentennial celebration.

"Considering how wet the weather has been, I had expected to get bit by a bunch of mosquitoes; I even brought a can of Raid," Jones said. "But the mosquitoes seem to have gone away."
