Special C-U week aims to strengthen bonds

Jacob Hess always valued family. But two years ago, a tragedy made him realize just how much it meant to him. That's when Hess' younger brother died of cancer.

"It changed my priorities," said the University of Illinois doctoral student in psychology. "I realized what really made a difference and what was important to me."
